Attendance Policy *

Strong session attendance is critical for each child's success and for the success of the whole group. Youth who miss two or more weekly sessions in one concert cycle may not be allowed to perform in that cycle's concert. If my child misses more than two sessions in a single cycle, I understand that my child may not be allowed to perform with the group. We will respect VOCO's decision-making discretion regarding the matter.

Mandatory Dates (VERY IMPORTANT! WRITE THESE DOWN!) *

Each concert cycle has two MANDATORY sessions: Coalition Day, where youth from ALL VOCO programs unite to rehearse, build community, and prepare for the concert, AND... Concert Day, where all their hard work gets put on display in a community-connecting concert event. The dates for mandatory sessions are: CYCLE 2 -Saturday, February 24, 2024, 1:00-5:00pm, St. Elizabeth's (Coalition Day) -THURSDAY, February 29, 2024, 1:00-9:30pm, The King Center, Auraria Campus (Concert Day. Participants will need to miss school on this day to be a part of the experience) CYCLE 3 -Saturday, April 20, 2024, 1:00-5:00pm, St. Elizabeth's School (Coalition Day) -Saturday, April 27, 2024, 1:00-6:00pm I understand that in order for my young person to be able to participate in a CONCERT Day, they must also attend the preceding COALITION Day. If they do not attend Coalition Day, I understand that they may not be allowed to participate in the performance. We will respect VOCO's decision-making discretion regarding the matter.

Publicity/Image/Likeness Permissions *

I hereby grant all rights to Vocal Coalition Youth Choirs and the artists with whom we collaborate to use, reproduce, photograph, record, and otherwise disseminate any aspect of this young person's involvement in VOCO rehearsals, performances, or activities, it being understood that no compensation be made for this use.

Program costs *

Tuition is $990 per student annually, we offer VOCO for free to remove barriers to access for under-resourced families. No payment is required to participate in VOCO, but here's how you can still help support our impact: After you complete this form, you will see a pop-up where you will have an opportunity to make a contribution toward your child's participation, or to use MySpark dollars to cover your child's tuition. While I understand that NO PAYMENT IS REQUIRED TO BE IN VOCO, I also understand that any personal or MySpark dollars I can contribute helps VOCO immensely as it seeks to live out its mission.
